Parents and Families Working Together

At Faith Lutheran Christian School (FLCS), we know that a strong school community is built on partnership. Partners in Education (P.I.E.) is our parent-led volunteer and fundraising organization. It brings together parents, staff, and community members to support school programs, raise funds, and create meaningful opportunities that enrich the educational experience for every student.

As the school’s primary parent-volunteer group, P.I.E. helps meet classroom needs not covered by tuition, supports major school events, and provides the extra touches that make our school year special.

Why P.I.E. Matters

P.I.E. is more than a fundraising group—it’s the heart of family involvement at FLCS. By working together, parents:

  • Help raise vital funds for classrooms, teachers, and programs

  • Create fun community events that students look forward to each year

  • Earn stewardship hours while serving

  • Model for children what it looks like to use gifts of time and talent in service to others

Through P.I.E., families are directly involved in the life of our school.

Each year, P.I.E. organizes and supports a variety of events that bring families together and raise important funds for the school:

  • Harvest Carnival

  • Fall Fundraiser

  • Popcorn Friday

  • Holiday House

  • Family Fun Night

  • Spring Fundraiser

  • Book Fair

  • Teacher Appreciation Week

  • Box Tops

  • Spirit Wear

Ongoing Programs

In addition to major events, P.I.E. coordinates year-round collections that provide extra support for classrooms:

  • Amazon Rewards

These small contributions add up and make a real impact for our teachers and students.

Want to learn more or get involved? P.I.E. meetings are open to all parents, and your participation makes a difference. Meetings are held on Wednesdays, 6:00–7:00 PM, on the following dates:
