God has equipped each of us with unique talents and passions. At Faith Lutheran Church in Lacey, WA, we believe those gifts are meant to be used for His glory and the good of others. Volunteering isn’t just about tasks—it’s about building community, growing in faith, and serving with purpose.

Why Serve?

When you serve, you reflect the heart of Jesus, who “did not come to be served, but to serve” (Mark 10:45). Volunteering helps you:

- Ushers & Greeters – Welcome guests and help everyone feel at home.
- Readers & Acolytes – Participate in the worship service.
- Altar Guild – Prepare for communion and special services.
- Music & Tech Team – Sing, play, or run sound and slides.
- Sunday School Teachers – Help kids learn about God’s love.
- Confirmation Leaders – Walk alongside students in their faith journey.
- Youth Team – Support events and service projects.
- Coffee Hour Hosts – Serve refreshments and welcome fellowship.
- Meal Ministry – Provide meals for families in need.
- Visitation & Prayer Teams – Encourage others with care and prayer.
- Facilities & Grounds – Help maintain the church campus.
- Event Volunteers – Support outreach events like Harvest Carnival, Holiday House, or Family Fun Night.
Schedule: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Mon–Fri)
- Backpack, full size, brought daily

- 8 Two-Pocket Folders with Prongs (assorted colors)

- Black Binder (1 inch) – for music class
- Faith Alive Bible (returning students bring; new students receive a copy)
Shared Classroom Supplies (turn in at Student Orientation):
- 1 Facial Tissue Box (150+ Count)
- 1 Box Ziploc Bags (6th grade: snack size | 7th & 8th grade: sandwich size)
- 1 Container Disinfectant Wipes (150+ Count)
Students are to bring all materials to Student Orientation to have ready in lockers for the first day of school.
